The Seacrest Inn is located in the beautiful Old Harbor historic district, in the Town of New Shoreham.  Block Island is a perfect haven for the weary visitor eager to escape from the daily grind and step back to the days when life was gentle and peaceful.

Our historic building is over 100 years old, beautifully restored and maintained.  Both the exterior and interior underwent major restoration and renovation in 1981, and another major renovation to the interior was recently completed.

The Seacrest is owned and operated by three generations of the DiTraglia family - Rita, daughter Jennifer, and grandson Martin.  Our goal is to provide you with comfortable lodging in our modern guest rooms.  Our rooms are beautifully appointed, and each room has a private bathroom.

The Inn features a complimentary continental breakfast between 8:00 am and 9:00 am, with coffee, tea, hot cocoa, yogurt, juices, bagels, oatmeal and danish. 

Only a 3 minute walk from the Point Judith, New London, and Providence ferry landings, the Inn is ideally situated.  The Montauk ferry landing and the Island Airport are within a 5 minute taxi ride.  Walking and bicycling are the best means of transportation, as the island's beautiful beaches, fine restaurants, pubs, churches and shops are just a few steps away.

Bicycle Rentals

The Seacrest Inn features the finest selection of rental bikes on the island.  Seven through 24 speed bikes, tandems, baby seats & children's bikes are available.

A quote from the Boston Sunday Globe: "On a recent visit, we rented bikes at the Seacrest Inn in Old Harbor.  The folks there are among the nicest on the island."
